I'm still having my first computer (in its box), bought some day before Christmas 1985. So, this year I'll be completing 24 years having my (still working) ZX Spectrum 48K (the one with the rubber keys on keyboard).
These photos are taken today in order to upload them to a (brand new) Facebook group, named: "I still have my old computer(s)"The old dilemma:
Who was first? The chicken or the egg?
The tree or the road?
Feeling alone? Don't!
Think that you are greening grayness."... one of a very small number of computers..."
If not nothing else, TweetDeck's brand new version makes me (or, at least, my computer) feel very special!
Recently I saw a TV show about World War 2 and I noticed someone whose resemblance with my grandfather is stunning. According to the narrator, he was returning from Egypt, where he had fought the Nazis as a soldier of the Greek Army and so had one of my grandfathers, who also got wounded in El Alamein!
My mother said to me that he is not the same person, but I find too many similarities between the two and that's why I'm posting the photograph here.
I rebooted my laptop, about 1 hour ago, because it upgraded to a newer release of the kernel (2.6.28-14-generic now). It was up for 28 days and 5 hours and I wanted to keep a note about it.
Haven't tried it until now, but publishing by email seems a good idea to me (along with the other goodies of posterous, since blog-by-email is rather common feature).
So, I'm starting with a colorful photo from my last travel...
